Limited run from 85-90, sure most of them were automatics. Hell all of em were with the tuned port injection from 85-87, but 88-90 saw a limited number of 5 speed 5.0 Iroc-z's. They also brought out the 350 option in 88, but it was only available in 4 speed automatic. Yes most of these early cars 85-87 were underpowered for being a 5.0 v8, pushing out 190BHP until 88 when it jumped to 220BHP, and the 350 with 240hp. Yes weak numbers, but compare it to the other cars during that time and its right on the money. I'm not a big chump(stang) fan, and I totally believe the Iroc-z was a much better car then the Horrid Mustang GT that you can pick up for a dime a dozen. Wanna talk about trashy vehicle owners, 99% of mustang GT owners (87-93) that i have encountered over my journeys are all the same, if you dislike mustang guys you know what i mean. Its hard to explain. Anyway, flame on!
"Holy smokes batman, what kind of automobile is that!?" -Robin "It's a 300zx twin turbo, robin........... DUh" -Batman |
